So it’s true that Piolo Pascual is on good terms anew with ex-girlfriend KC Concepcion and her mom Sharon Cuneta. His reported misunderstanding with KC erupted right after their break up years back. Then Piolo’s fans had an altercation with Sharon that reportedly spearheaded the feud between Sharon and Piolo.
Well, just recently Piolo and KC were spotted exchanging pleasantries at the ASAP Sunday show of ABS-CBN, with Piolo kissing her on the cheek before leaving the said program. The latest talks insinuate that Piolo has already made the move to court again KC. If anything, words run fast it all started when KC did part ways with Paulo Avelino.
My informant, however, reported what Piolo confided to her. These were the words he uttered. “Yes, I’ve no more gap with KC but it does not mean we have rekindled our previous relationship. True, I sent flowers not for KC but for her late grandma Elaine at her wake.”
Piolo added too that he’s in glee with his reconciliation with Sharon. Now that she’s back as a Kapamilya actress, he’s more than willing to do a project, if given the chance.
Judy Ann, Ryan: Not Perfect Couple But…
Both Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo laugh off talks that they don’t belong to the so-called bellicose couples, out of their smooth relationships in marital life. Ryan himself snapped to a group of writers that their marriage is far from perfect, what with misunderstandings every now and then.
“It’s a matter of dealing with problems properly, keeping our differences to ourselves. As it is, at times our children Yohan and Lucho would feel something goes wrong. Nakakatuwa pareho silang lambing. The two will empathize with us by hugging, kissing us. Of course, pareho kaming magiging cool ni Juday and would easily calm down.” Ryan was quoted as saying.
Contrary to speculations of others, it’s not Ryan’s alleged womanizing ways that would truly annoy Juday. He claims that he has never cheated his wife. His weaknesses in drinking spree and smoking appear to be the factor.
“ This last Holy Week. I’ve promised to give up smoking and not to be a habitual drinker. Hopefully, I’ll emerge a better husband.” Ryan mattered.
Megan Young to be paired with Rumored BF Mikael Daez?
With Ms. World Megan Young signing a one year contract with GMA-7 last March 31, her followers are unstrung to know something. Is she willing to co-star with rumored boyfriend Kapuso actor-host Mikael Daez in a tele serye? You see, even before Megan won the Ms. World title, words had scattered that she was that way with Mikael.
Oh well, Megan remains tight-lipped about it. She’s sure in telling the movie press that she will be the host of the next Star struck season, together with Dingdong Dantes. That makes Megan excited for she herself was the product of the stars truck search batch one.
Meanwhile, Megan’s advice to her chum Wynwin Marquez (daughter of Joey Marquez-Alma Moreno) not to be discouraged. After losing at the recent Bb. Pilipinas pageant, Megan opines that Wynwin has better chances to join the Ms. Philippines for the next Ms. World competition.

In the history of Philippines movies, comic characters that had many screen versions were created by the acknowledged Komiks King the late Mars Ravelo which began in the ‘50s. The first one was the super woman heroine Darna which was originally enacted by Rosa del Rosario in the films Darna, followed by Darna at ang Babaing Lawin.
Subsequently, from ‘60s to ‘80s. Other actresses who delineated the role of Darna were Liza Moreno-Darna at Impakta, Eva Montes-Darna at ang Babaing Tuod, and Gina Pareno-Darna at ang Planetman. And in the ‘70s it was Vilma Santos in Lipad, Darna, Lipad and Darna at si Ding with child wonder Nino Muhlach.
IN the ‘80s, the late Comedy King Dolphy had a Darna spoof version while Megastar Sharon Cuneta played Darna in Darna at si Captain Barbel with Herbert Bautista). Boob tube shows had its own versions of Darna, originally played by Angel Locsin then by Marian Rivera’s enactment of Darna that catapulted her to fame.
After Darna, Mars Ravelo came up with the story of a mermaid named Dyesebel made into a movie by Premiere Productions which launched Edna Luna to full stardom. Its huge success compelled several producers to do Dyesebel too, with Vilma Santos, Lorna Tolentino and Charlene Gonzales in the lead, respectively. Plus its TV adaptation, tackled by Marian Rivera right after her fame as Darna.
Again Mars made it big in comics, bringing up the humorous story of an adult with a child’s mind named Bondying. The first actor to portray it on the celluloid strips was the deceased Fred Montilla who garnered the first best actor award for a comical role in this flick.
In the ‘70s, ‘80s, both Jay Ilagan and Jimmy Santos were handed the same character which all the more pushed up their popularity. Then Ravelo serialized once more a super hero Captain Barbel that the deceased Bob Soler performed in its movie version. Eventually, Dolphy duplicated in comically, followed by another comic style by Herbert Bautista which were all smash hits
It was however in serious stuff where the award giving body FAMAS handed Ravelo the best story writer award for Tubog sa Ginto. The plot on a loving family man with a latent homosexuality won also the best film, best actor (Eddie Garcia) and best director (Lino Brocka).

Out of his unintentional joke that he will soon be a dad merely to promote his TV drama series Dream Dad, words run fast his girlfriend Bea Alonzo is allegedly pregnant.
