MTRCB SUMMONS ABS-CBN TWICE

Just recently, Movie, TV, Radio Classification Board (MTRCB), summoned TV executives of ABS-CBN twice in a row. Firstly, for the foul language used in some scenes of the top rating TV drama series Pangako sa Iyo (Daniel Padilla-Kathryn Bernardo). The board found it unsuitable for Kids.
Secondly, after receiving many complaints from TV viewers, MTRCB called for a meeting the bigwigs of Pinoy Big Brother reality show. The aim’s to give safety measures that will ensure that the show won’t expose its teen participants as well as the watchers in situations, challenges and experiences that may be detrimental to their well-being.
Those involved heeded to the board’s advices, with the promise not to fall into the same mistakes. As it is, Pinoy Big Brother duplicates too the high viewership of Pangako sa Iyo that compels the MTRCB to be more observant.
Ai-Ai delas Alas, Direk Mario Suzara Show Support for ex-Child Actor
In the past, Jiro Manio gained recognition as an erstwhile child actor who won best child performer awards locally and abroad for Magnifico. In his early teen years, Jiro appeared too in some movies and TV programs. Then he disappeared from the limelight out of personal problems.
Then came the news that Jiro was seen alone roaming in the vicinity of the NAIA terminal visibly out of his mind. Later, his brother fetched him there and begs for understanding on the plight of his sibling. Jiro’s psychiatrist expounded that he needs medical help and strong support system for he has not shed off drug addiction.
Upon learning Jiro’s condition, Ai-Ai delas Alas and movie director Mario delos Reyes are among those who express assistance to Jiro. More so, a Hollywood producer got Barbara as the leading lady of popular American actor Jeffrey Hunter in the film No Man’s An Island shot in the Philippines.
The Universal Pictures of Hollywood offered Barbara a contract at the time she graced No Man’s… premiere night in U.S.But she was already scheduled to marry actor Robert Arevalo, her main priority. So Barbara rushed home to put aside her Hollywood dream in favor of marriage.
Incidentally, a story ran that during the time Amalia and Barbara joined the Karilagan fashion models with stint in New York, just for kicks, before the two ate in a known café there, both copied the get ups of Elizabeth and Audrey. Those liberated women and the hide-bound ones have been awed by Toni Gonzaga’s admission to pen pushers that she only gave her virginity to husband Paul Soriano on their first wedding night.

Almost a year since the spark of the rift between Aljur Abrenica and GMA-7 bigwigs that caused the freezing of his career, the Kapuso network finally has reactivated his career. Obviously Aljur took the cudgel, apologized for the mistakes he had done. And the moguls of the said TV station took him back.
Aside from his guest appearances in some GMA-7 TV shows, Aljur has been handed a lead role in a new drama series which reunites him with Kris Bernal. Prior to the start of its taping, Aljur and Kris had acting workshop to enhance their skills.
By the way, Aljur admits to a writer-pal of mine that he still nurtures to reconcile with his ex-gf Kylie Padilla. On the outset, looks like Kylie’s on the brink of taking Aljur back, based on the comments of their mutual chums.
