Albeit actress Meryl Soriano had misunderstandings in the past with her dad Willie Revillame, she comes in his defense on his child abuse case filed against him. This ignited when Willie allowed a kid to dance ala macho dancer in his defunct TV show WillingWiliie under TV 5 years back.
The sudden off the air of Willie’s new TV program Wowowwin for GMA-7 led others to surmise that it’s due to recent warrant of arrest issued by Court of Appeals Judge Ma. Luisa Quijano Padilla who junked his motion for reconsideration on the ground of no new or substantial argument presented to justify the reversal or modification of the assailed decision.
At that, many opined that it compelled Willie to request for a vacation for Wowowin from its producers, GMA-7 management. Some have bad-mouthed him. In this light, Meryl pleads people not to misjudge Willie. As she clarified that the case was an unintentional mistake of her father.
“Remember that through decades, my dad had made countless people happy via his various TV programs, not to mention his all out assistance to the needy ones, especially the senior citizens. Sana huwag ninyong kalimutan ang nagawa niyang mabuti.” Meryl said.
At this writing, Willie remains tight-lipped but heard that his lawyers have already done the motion in defense of Willie.

On Election Day, first time voters Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla have been accused of breach of ballot due to the photo at Facebook showing the duo with election ballot. The rule has it that no one is allowed from taking photos for sanctity, secrecy of the ballots.
