Just recently, Kathryn Bernardo did not discard differences with Daniel Padilla would cause misunderstandings. She admits being exact opposite with him in many ways. This has led others to opine their lassitude for each other might cause the duo’s break up sooner than expected.

A showbiz pal recounted to me that she came across seasoned, multi-awarded actress Perla Bautista who sent best regards to me, praying for my good health. Naturally, my decades of friendship with Perla rang a bell anew in my mind. For it so happened she’s my original chum in showbiz.

Eventually, the late producer Atty. Esperidion Laxa of Tagalog Ilang Ilang outfit launched Perla to stardom via Markang Rehas, opposite Joseph Estrada. Interestingly, Perla, Joseph won the FAMAS best actress, actor awards in that flick. Thus, both made several movies together with the distinction one of the top three love teams then.
In often communication, Perla confided her real romance with Joseph which she opted to discontinue upon the return of Erap’s wife Dr. Loi Ejercito from abroad who reconciled with him. French Film Fest Honors Fil Megger
After 18 years Pinoy movie director Raymond Red returns to Cannes which ushers in French Film Festival to honor him. His movies Anino, Himpapawid and Bagahe will be reshown. In 2000, Anino garnered the Palme d’Or award in Cannes Film Festival which brought fame to Philippine cinema.
According to Martin Macalintal who’s the audio visual attaché of the French Embassy, it’s very symbolic, always a reminder of the Cannes because it gives world-wide recognition to the talents of Filipino film makers. Other foreign actors will join Raymond as honorees this June.

The daughter of an actor-politician filed for an annulment of her marriage with her estranged husband who’s a producer of TV shows. Allegedly, she can’t no longer stand his affair with an ex-lady host of a show which her husband used to produce. The daughter stays now in her parents’ digs, with her child.
