Cebuanos have been disappointed in the non-appearance of Jennylyn Mercado in Cebu to participate in the publicized Ironman 70.3 Triathlon Philippine Race. She didn’t show despite her alleged pre-arranged trip there, stay at the 5-star-hotel there.
But Jen divulged to the movie press that she’s the victim of fraud. Jen explained that she entrusted P300,000 to a friend for ticket fares, hotel accommodations, including her family who supposedly would spend a vacation in Cebu.
“Pero last minute sinabi niyang may problema kaya huli na akong magpa-reschedule dun. It wasn’t my fault. Ako ang biktima dito.” A teary-eyed Jen confirmed.
However, Jen’s refusal to name the mentioned friend and to file a case against that person led some of her detractors to comment. “Could be a mere alibi to cover up for her failure to join the contest. Baka nag-chicken out lang siya..”
Incidentally, Jen’s new GMA show H.O.T TV which replaced showbiz Central started last Aug. 5, with co-hosts Regine Velasquez, Roderick Paulate and Raymond Gutierrez. It’s pitted with boy Abunda’s The Buzz which remains unmatched in viewership, scope. Can it hold a candle to The Buzz? Let’s see…
Erich, Julia’s Rivalry over Enchong?
So the closeness of Julia Montes and Enchong Dee seems not beating around the bush. Both declare they’re happy of their togetherness. Though the two neither confirmed nor denied if it’s more than a friendly relationship. The latest talk implies Julia allegedly sulks over something which makes Enchong not to attenuate their attachment.
The arduous scenario has it that the fanatics of Enchong and Erich Gonzales throw contumacious reaction, being very much against the twosome of Enchong and Julia. Could it trigger too the rivalry of Julia and Erich over Enchong?

Richard’s Family Affected by court of Appeals ‘s Move
Days back, the Court of Appeals has re-opened the case of reckless imprudence against Richard Gutierrez, saying there’s a probable cause. On May 22, 2008 in Silang Cavite, Chard drove his car which met with an accident, resulting to the death of his personal assistant Nomer Prado.
Previously, the widow Lorayne Pardo filed a case vs Chard which was dismissed by the Department of Justice. Out of the latest development, Chard’s dad Eddie Gutierrez & siblings have been affected. But Chard’s lawyer Atty. Gener Asuncion stressed the decision of the Court of Appeals not yet final.
Muhlach Clan Supports Aga’s Candidacy
This August, Aga Muhlach celebrates his birthday with the hope the entire Muhlach clan will grace to support his congressional bid. Aside from his dad Cheng, Aga expects the presence of his aunt Amalia Fuentes, all his siblings, uncle Alex, cousins (led by Nino Muhlach, Liezl Martinez), nephews , nieces and his grown up son Luigi.
