Heir not cooperating in the
Settlement of Estate
Pwede po ba macheck sa BIR to update her TIN number. Isa na lng po kulang out of 11 heirs. Salamat po!
Kind regards. Ms.AB
However, pag hindi nagkakasundo at ayaw mag cooperate ung ang alin man sa mga heirs for whatever reason, ang option sa settlement of estate ay through Judicial Settlement of Estate and Partition. Mag kaganoon pa man, you may confer with the BIR if you can secure the TIN of the concerned heir.

At assuming na makakuha kayo ng TIN, pero pag ayaw pumirma sa Extrajudicial Settlement of Estate ang concerned heir, ay hindi rin viable ung Extrajudicial settlement at maaring mawalan kayo iba pang option but to resort to Judicial Settlement of Estate with Partition which is adversarial , long and winding process and more costly and inconvenience on the part the heirs.
