ANNOUNCEMENT

For 2012, we are pleased to announce that our BALITA Editor and Publisher, Ruben Cusipag, is moving on as Editor and Publisher Emeritus, and that I finally received the nod to have full control of the paper as its new editor and publisher.
We also welcome Ruben’s old media comrade , a well-known video and print journalist, Romy Marquez, as our newest addition to the BALITA team.
We thank all our family and friends who have stood firm with us through thick and thin, including the newfound ones. We love you guys, we are enriched and fulfilled in having you in our lives.
With the new addition and together with the rest of the staff, our collective efforts will keep the dream of a vibrant and exciting community newspaper going. Of course we hope to be sustained by your unwavering faith and friendships.
Thanks to you all, our countless supporters, readers and advertisers- you are the reason we exist, to be your voice and conscience. Our journey together will forge on into more fruitful years.
I remain your humble servant, to manage Balita to the best of my capabilities. No doubt we had good years because of your unending love and support.
