A mother is a special creation by God on earth. All mothers are special but one stood different among the rest and on Her birthday we will give Her the glory of certain miracles.

Among those who can write and tell stories about mother, I know that I am one of the least experienced, if biological mother will be the issue. I was left by my own mother when I was young, according to her I was 4 years old then but according to my lola who did took care of me, I was 3 years old. But regardless of the exact age, I was so young then to understand why I should suffer from a selfish decision of my parents.
So then, how on earth can I write a piece about a miracle of a mother whereas we can say I had almost no experience? Well, having no biological mother makes more miracles for me for I have a lot of mothers in my life. It is most especially a miracle for me having experienced the same love Christ got from his mother, Mama Mary.
My stories are so special and many motherless children can relate to these. Actually, those motherless children were fostered by the Mother of God Herself, as far as I believe and based on my stories and experiences.
1st MIRACLE:
I lost my mother from a selfish decision of hers but God gave me my Lola Inang who played as my mother all throughout her life until she died at her old age of 99. I learned that I had no mother and only have my Lola when I had several kid stuff quarrels with my cousin out of jealousy for being our Lola’s pet during my early years as a child. Out of this sad reality, every night of my young life I looked into pages of RTW magazines, looking and wondering how my mother looks like. It was so painful to remember those sad nights, crying and kissing the pictures of women assuming it is how my own mother looks like. But out of this, I consider one of the best miracles God has given me was having a Lola. She spent and gave her time, love, money and most of all is the virtue in life that a person must have – a principle that cannot be corrupted by anybody or anything; the virtue she lived by and passed on to me. She strived hard to make me what I am now. God will provide better replacement and life will be better.
2nd MIRACLE:
As I grew up, tension built –up within the family because of my being a Lola’s pet. Envy rose to the highest level that I need to keep to myself all falsehood and injustices done to me by my other family members. I need to keep silent on the bad things done to me or else my lola will fight for my welfare. Being so old that time, I don’t want her to suffer the family quarrel emulating from envy on me for having all the attention of my Lola Inang.
So, instead I learned to go the chapel in our church where a big image of Our Lady of Fatima was located. There I learned to talk to Her and voiced out my suffering and hardship in life for not having a mother. Until one day, I experienced a big load of pain, anger, pity, and then loneliness is gone from my being. I felt I was so light and learned to forgive my cousins and their parents for what they had done to me. From that time I’ve learned to understand and forgive those who offended me for it is also what I expect from others for the imperfection I had in my life.
The true encounter with the true God can change people from worst to better, from better to good, and from Good to Pureness. Let us not be like hypocrites that go to churches everyday but does not possess compassion, forgiveness, and true love for his family and people around us. When one enters church, one must experience God and eventually change him for the better. Relationship with God is something very personal and life-changing. It is changing one thinking and attitude towards everybody especially to those who have sinned against them and sinned against God. One must possess forgiveness and love as evidence of God’s influence to man. The right to judge was not given to man but left to God alone. That is the true miracle of having God in one’s life.
3rd MIRACLE:
The chance to help people is the third miracle. By stroke of fate and faith, my life changed in one day. I never imagined it will come to someone like me, but it did. I was 33 then when my life had a twist of fate when divine apparition (based on my personal account) happened to me. I was instructed to help the sick. But I am not a doctor and I am not that wealthy to do it. But lo and behold, I was given the secret to be an instrument of healing. For fifteen (15) years I was an instrument of healing and as myself gave them hope and happiness. The service was done free of charge and I personally spend my own money for the necessities like food, electric bills, and water bills for the patients’ welfare. But I always pray to Mama Mary that She give me more blessings so I can continue helping people. During those times when I was just starting with this mission, I prayed to Mama Mary for guidance and She replied in my thought that She will never leave me and will always be beside me to help with this mission.
4th MIRACLE:
The 4th miracle is having a relationship with a person that has a mother’s heart and that won’t leave our children in spite all the trials and challenges that we will encounter in life. Yes, life on earth is full of lies, deception, and mistakes. It can ruin one’s life and family like what happened to my parents. I am lucky and I consider it as a miracle having a wonderful thing that can withstand the cruel reality of life. Actually, the fourth miracle is simple called love; a love which is pure and eternal; love that never fades. Like God, if the love is pure it can withstand the harsh environment on earth and stay forever united as one. Not all woman have the heart of a mother just what I’ve experienced with my biological mother. But not all women that have a mother’s heart can be the mother of your children. So it is a miracle that my children have a wonderful being called a mother that have a mother’s heart.
Those who have Mama Mary in life have an extra boost of luck and love. Old people and children alike will have a different path if not cared by a loving mother. But Mama Mary will always be here for us if we believe She is the true mother of mankind.
